When the world’s most powerful business leaders, policymakers and influencers flood into Davos for the World Economic Forum each year, the next generation normally flees town, with local schoolchildren whisked away on a ski trip to avoid the bustle and crowds.
But this year is different. Instead of heading off on holiday, the 280 students of the Davos Dorf primary school stayed to attend a question-and-answer session with forum delegates, including David Cruickshank, chairman of Deloitte.
The move gave delegates a rare opportunity to hear from and inspire a group of the leaders and employees of the future.
