Decked out with flags and T-shirts calling for the protection of their fishing grounds and armed with crates of eggs to hurl at any Japanese coastguards who interfere, Taiwanese fishermen yesterday set sail in a flotilla of nearly 80 boats towards the contested Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea.
近80艘臺灣漁船昨日啟航，向東海有爭議的尖閣諸島(Senkaku Islands，中國稱其為“釣魚島及其附屬島嶼”)進發。這些漁船上懸掛著旗幟和呼吁保護漁場的T恤，還“配備”成箱的雞蛋，準備扔向前來干預的日本海上保安廳巡視船。
