A suicide bomber killed at least five people and injured 15 on Thursday morning in an attack in the northwestern city of Peshawar, the latest blast in a bloody campaign that has rocked Pakistan over the past year.
The lone suicide bomber walked up to a security check point near the offices of the state-owned Pakistan International Airlines and blew himself up.
Peshawar police said Taliban militants who have carried out a string of attacks in retaliation for the Pakistan army's two-month long campaign against their safe havens in the tribal region of South Waziristan were behind the attack.
